As a 2024 bride juggling college and wedding planning, I quickly realized how overwhelming the process could be. With endless decisions and information, I wanted to make it as simple, organized, and stress free as possible. So, I began gathering tips, hacks, and creative solutions—especially for the non-traditional plans we needed.
Although planning long-distance came with challenges, God graciously provided mentors, friends, and a supportive community. Now that the wedding whirlwind has passed, I’ve had time to reflect on what I loved, what I’d do differently, and what I wish I hadn’t stressed over. As a result, I created Inspiring the Bride—to help other brides navigate this sweet, fleeting season with intention, joy, and grace. Whether you’re newly engaged or deep in planning, I hope this space encourages and equips you for both your big day and the beautiful covenant ahead.
Why I created
Inspiring The Bride
After the process of planning my own wedding and being a wedding videographer, I wanted to create a space that provided brides with inspiration, resources, and a supportive community.
My goal is to help brides enjoy their engagement season without the stress and overwhelming feelings of wedding planning!
I believe there’s so much to share that can assist future brides, whether it’s an idea, a practical planning decision, or even some honest struggles, so that no bride feels alone in her experiences.
So to the best of my ability I will share, write, post, and try to answer as many questions about the wedding planning process as I can.
I hope this can be a huge help to you or a bride you know. My dream is to see a community form through this, encouraging and helping each bride and their grooms have the best day celebrating their love!
